Who here is a mama! 🙋🏽‍♀️ I AM! And who here is ALWAYS trying to get rid of their   #mompouch  ? I AM! . . Today, I strictly took an hour on abs. It’s funny, because I NEVER feel sore in the abs... ever. Even ask my trainer   @marcobrionesfitness  ! I can work my abs forever, but they are NEVER sore. 90% of your body works with nutrition. You can do A THOUSAND sit ups, but what’s going to tone and thin that tummy, is what you feed it. 🥗 I am here to tell you, I am NOT perfect and my nutrition SUCKS! 💯 I binge ALL the time. The kids chips and gummies are always way yummier than some banana 🍌. I absolutely love that my work feeds me for free, because it allows me to eat healthy when I’m away. My work food consists of salads, chicken, veggies and salmon most the time. Occasionally, I’ll have fries, 🍟 which are delicious 😋 but it’s about balance and that you can allow yourself to get on track after and keep going. . . I still really have a mom pouch, and I don’t think it’ll go down unless I have surgery, it’s something I have accepted and just keep going! If I can do it, SO CAN YOU! **Leg Day Warm Up** - Don’t make this mistake. . One big mistake I see a lot of lifters make is walking into the gym to walk on a treadmill for 5 minutes before warming up on their first exercise of the day. . The only things worse is the lifters who walk in and go straight to their first exercise of the day. . Warming up on the first exercise of the day is great. That’s a good specific warm-up. . However if you’re looking to maximize performance, decrease risk of injury and truly prepare your body for a serious training session then you need more. . A good general warm up addresses any soft tissue needs, flexibility (dynamic or static), mobility, muscle and nervous system activation and increases heart rate. . So what does that look like? . Leg Day Warm Up: . Foam Roll- 1. Calves: 30s 2. Hip Flexors/Quads: 30-60s . LAX Ball - 3. Hamstrings: 30-45s . 4. Jump Rope 100-200 foot contacts . 5. Squat/Forward Lunge/Reverse Lunge Matrix - 5 each . 6. Lateral Lunge - 5 each . 7. Leg Swings - 8 each . 8. Hip Circle - 10 each direction (4 lateral and back at angle) . This warm up should take 8-10 minutes total and have you feeling great and ready to smash some PRs or handle a tough leg day training session. . First of all the transformation of picture quality is everything! Lmao 😂 . . . So, I hear all the time that they was always “skinny” and what blows me away is, it be people who’ve known me less then 10 years saying it. Well, inside the last 10 years I’ve been slim, pregnant, over weight, Thick, and to small in the eyes of everyone around me. But one thing through all the labels I haven’t been is healthy. . . . People can tell you who they think you are all day, but who do you tell yourself you are? 🤔 I stopped letting other people tell  @me   who I was a long time ago and when I did I became the best version of myself I knew I wanted to be and that I could be.
